Maandag 25 september staat de volgende aquarel workshop gepland
If you love animals and watercolor painting, this workshop is perfect for you. We'll be exploring the techniques of loose watercolor painting to create beautiful and vibrant animal illustrations. In this workshop, we'll focus on painting different animals such as lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife using loose watercolor techniques. We'll learn how to create the illusion of fur, feathers, and other animal textures using brushstrokes, layering, and color mixing. I will be bringing in some of my own watercolor paintings of animals to the workshop for you to use as references. You can choose your favorite animal painting and use it as a guide to create your own unique illustration. I will also provide guidance and tips on how to adapt and personalize the reference images to suit your own style and creativity. This will give you the freedom to experiment and create something truly unique and meaningful to you Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this workshop is a great opportunity to develop your skills and learn new techniques. It's also a chance to relax, unwind, and connect with fellow animal lovers and art enthusiasts in a fun and friendly environment. Good to know: - The workshop is suitable for all levels, so no previous experience is required. - We will bring all materials that we need for the class, so you don't need to worry about anything. - The workshop will be in English. |
My name is Andreea Nae and I will be your guide on this visual journey. I started as an architect in Romania and slowly became a watercolorist based in the Netherlands. My artistic odyssey started in 2009, when I was preparing for university by taking drawing classes. I began focusing more on painting a few years later, when I discovered watercolors, and it was love at first sight. I am very passionate about painting animals, portraits, and cityscapes, but I will never back up from a challenge. Whatever I find beautiful, I transform it in watercolor. My style stands out because of its vibrant and bold colors, combined with spatters and a messy effect. That’s how life is, after all: a bit messy, but beautiful, nonetheless. |
