In the clouds!

If you’re like me you love looking at clouds, beautiful, everchanging cotton like shapes floating in the sky that leave us often staring in contemplation. Let’s go paint some clouds together!

With the blending ease of pastels we can capture these ephemeral shapes and paint them with the vibrant colors of pastels.

In this workshop we are free to experiment with the fantastic color blending quality of pastels, we’ll learn how to define large areas and shapes with pastel bars and give the illusion of detail while keeping a loose approach. We’ll make those clouds look realistic and volumetric by applying the right values, colors and our own unique touch.

André Rios will guide you personally throughout the process and in the end you will be able to apply this method yourself and create your own pastel clouds paintings.

LET OP:
Deze workshop wordt in het Engels gegeven.

Het is inclusief: gebruik alle materialen, koffie/thee met iets lekkers. De workshop wordt gegeven in het Experience Centre te Apeldoorn.

Na afloop ga je niet alleen met je gemaakte werk maar ook met een goodiebag naar huis.

Over André:
As a graphic designer living and working in the Netherlands, I am fortunate to be immersed in a thriving creative scene that constantly inspires me.

In my graphic design career, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse clients from various industries. Whether it's designing logos, branding materials, or creating visually appealing websites, I take pride in crafting meaningful and aesthetically pleasing designs that effectively communicate the clients' messages. Collaborating with talented colleagues and learning from their expertise has been a constant source of growth for me.

In parallel to my graphic design work, I have dedicated myself to pursuing a fine art career. The Netherlands' rich artistic heritage and vibrant contemporary art scene have provided me with endless inspiration. I often spend my evenings and weekends honing my skills in painting, drawing, and experimenting with various mediums.
