In this workshop, you will learn how to create a hyper-realistic drawing of a Twix wrapper / plastic packaging using pastel pencils.
This is a complex drawing, but you will be guided step by step through the full process. We will focus on how to build structure, place values correctly, understand colour temperature, control edges, and create the illusion of depth and 3D form on paper.
The goal of the workshop is not only to create your own hyper-realistic artwork, but also to understand what makes an image look realistic and dimensional. You will gain practical skills and knowledge that you can apply to future pastel pencil drawings.
Participants can choose between a ticket with materials included or a ticket without materials. If you choose the materials option, the pastel pencils used during the workshop are included in the price, and you can take them home afterwards to continue or finish your drawing.
Whether you’re just getting started with pastels or looking for a new challenge, this workshop is about slowing down, sharpening your observation, and discovering how even the simplest objects can become extraordinary.
